Hi, Im wondering if anyone could help with this problem. Im trying to go back to 2.1 or so on my iPhone 3G (I think it came with 2.0, but Im at 3.1 now). The reason is because I have a cable product that stopped working since 3.0, but I want to use it again and am willing to sacrifice cutting and pasting, etc. The problem, however, is that every time I download what claims to be older firmware, it doesnt appear on my desktop the way Id expect it to--as a white cube with notes around it. Instead it comes up as a ... Read Full Story

Give this a try: Connect your iPhone to your computer. Open iTunes, and wait 10 minutes.I had the problem Ive seen posted by many others: iTunes did not recognize my iPhone when I connected the iPhone to my iMac computer. After reinstalling the OS and iTunes, resetting the iPhone, etc., I tried again... connected the iPhone to the computer, and NOTHING. I tried once more, and this time I had to step away from my computer for several minutes. When I came back to the computer, there ... Read Full Story

QT 4.6 can be used with Maemo 5 right now. The only difference with Maemo 6 is that it will the native UI toolkit. So basically it is the same situation as QT 4.5 with Symbian right now. But in Symbian^4 it will also be the native UI toolkit. Anyway, HTML is all nice and good (and part of QT with the web components), but as Apple has show, native tools just can't be beat for lots of stuff.
