QT 4.6 can be used with Maemo 5 right now. The only difference with Maemo 6 is that it will the native UI toolkit. So basically it is the same situation as QT 4.5 with Symbian right now. But in Symbian^4 it will also be the native UI toolkit.
Anyway, HTML is all nice and good (and part of QT with the web components), but as Apple has show, native tools just can't be beat for lots of stuff.
