By Bbhit on  From iphone-chat.org
Hi, A friend of mine who lives in the US and who has a BlackBerry (on the T-Mobile USA network) has tried several times to send me text messages on my iPhone 3G (on the O2 UK network), but to no avail. I have contacted O2, but surprise surprise they told me that nothing is wrong at their end. I thought that the problem was maybe related to my upgrading to iOS 4.0.x, but yesterday I reverted to 3.1.3 and I am still not able to get text messages from my friend. Surely, there has to be something...Read Full Story

Recently iTunes stopped recognizing my iPhone. I am using a PC laptop, running XP SP2, iTunes v.9.0.3, iPhone v. 3.1.2 -- I have been through the Apple iPhone support pages help recommendations including 1. stopping and restarting apple services, 2. uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, 3. turning off the iPhone, 4. Rebooting the PC, and the other command line programs from the run prompt and nothing has worked. I used to get a window asking me which software to use to view the photos after...Read Full Story

By Bbhit on  From iphone-chat.org
Running version 3.1.3, take a picture with the camera, open safari, open a picture in a email, etc. sometimes the phone just shuts down. Battery will be 90%-100%, however immediately shows a low battery and will turn off. Hook up to either a wall charger or via computer USB and the battery returns to 90%-100%. Hard resets, restore, etc. all have no effect. Sent the phone in for a Battery replacement to apple, they returned the phone with out replacing the battery and indicated that the...Read Full Story

Safari text reflowformatting revisited iPhone

By iphone4apps8317 on  From iphone-4g-3g.com
About a year ago, I asked about problems with web pages text formatting and/or reflow in Safari, and didnt really get an answer. The problem has gotten worse with the advent of iPhones with different screen resolutions (320x480, 640x960). The problem is that web pages from several sites Im working on are rendered on the iPhone by Safari in either a tiny unreadable font, or if you resize the screen, a legible font but a window thats much wider than the screen, requiring left-right scrolling to...Read Full Story

Sync Error iPhoto to iPhone 3G

By Bbhit on  From iphone-chat.org
Tried to sync some applications from iTunes to my wifes iPhone. However, obtained an error message in that the file could not be found. After trial and error, by disabling the sync with iPhoto it syncs ok. One thing I did notice is that there are two photos that are left on the roll, although I cant see the thumbnails or able to delete. If tried restoring the iPhone to original setting and restoring from back-up - but same result, fails to sync once photos selected. Ive seen threads to remove...Read Full Story
