The New Media Journal points out, "That which is old, is new again" “On January 31, 1971,members of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) met in a Detroit hotel to discuss war crimes they claimed to have participated in or witnessed during their combat tours in Vietnam. We have known for some time that this day was coming, but nothing makes it easier. We have lost a great light in our lives and our politics, and it will never be the same again. Senator John Kerry, (D-MA) , held a town hall meeting in Somerville, MA yesterday, which was surprisingly well attended – by supporters of Health Care Reform. The event, which was pushed by Organizing for America (MyBarackObama.com) , gave Kerry a platform to pontificate that he would be carrying the torch for the late Ted Kennedy dream of Universal Health Care (public option), a move that Harry Reid can appreciate. The interesting aspect of this particular pro-health reform event, were the attendees: according to the Boston Globe: “Spectators arrived early, many carrying pro-health care overhaul signs, which were prohibited inside for security reasons. According to Business First News, up to May 2, the number of 7(a) loans approved by the SBA was down by more than 19% this fiscal year compared with the same period a year earlier. For those who are unaware, the 7(a) SBA loans are a popular source of working capital for small business owners: the popular SBA express and community express loans fall within this category. Ooohh look what TMZ dug up this time. John Kerry , five chicks and a whole lot of partying. As far as politically scandalous photos go, I'd say these are borderline. Yes John Kerry looks like he's totally getting down with the sorority girl action. But, I'm thinking he got jumped by a Bachelorette party. 1. Girls only drink out of penis straws at bachelorette parties. 2. The two older dudes with Kerry are his buddies, so are we to believe this was just a hot girl party roving the streets looking for washed-up politicians who love Bon Jovi and tequila? 3. The girls ... Read Full Story
