So, Tubby has moved on to Minnesota and Billy Gillispie has taken the helm of the Wildcats and only time will tell if Gillispie lives up to his reputation. Gillispie has had quite a reputation spending his last years at Texas A&M; and brought A&M into serious contention. My take on Gillispie is that he is a hands on go getter in every sense of the word, Billy has said that the Wildcats will have "the absolute best staff in the country" hey, I like him already. One assistant being considered is Jeremy Cox who coached under him at Texas A&M;, Billy was quoted ... Read Full Story

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Alex Legion might reconsider transferring from the University of Kentucky basketball program -- or he might consider Michigan. The freshman guard was reconsidering his decision last night and "may return" to UK, according to a report on Sports Illustrated's Web site that cited an unnamed source. Citing that same source, SI.com reported that UK coach Billy Gillispie would be "open" to Legion staying. It is still up in the air about Legion leaving U.K, but my guess is he wants to play more basketball, here lately there has been a shift in who we see playing and who should get more ... Kenny Walker comments on Gillispie and his recruiting expertise even getting the early prospects and at least of all having Kentucky listed as one of their choices, also of Gillispie's good job of bringing in Legion and Patterson, jumping on to next season gaining the commitment of DeAndre Liggins, and his heavy involvement in Tyler Zeller and Darius Miller. A lot of things can be taken into account from when a sophomore or junior commits and when he is actually ready to play, however, I believe that being able to talk to the would be recruits and make an impression on them could take ... One of the big prospects for the Wildcats has signed with Florida, Jai Lucas the four star point guard has picked to play his basketball at Florida. Lucas made a visit to the bluegrass and was much coveted after by our coach Billy Gillispie and Florida's Billy Donovan. Another great prospect 7ft. Beas Hamga made his decision to play for UNLV, I wish these guys the best of luck in their season and know that in the game you have to weigh all your possibilities and pick the school where you can or believe to reach your full potential.
