It was so great going home, seeing everyone, chatting with family, eating good food, etc.  I left Quebec in 1992, sure I go back once every 1 or 2 years.  I even spent a winter in Montreal a few years ago when my husband (before he was my husband) and I had broken up for a bit.  But all in all I left ‘home’, meaning Quebec about 16 years ago now. Here’s a little custom-made gym bag or “Turnbeutel” for a little boy starting kindergarten in the autumn which I made this morning.
