Once again, I think Miche has released a bunch of winners for February 2012. Maybe because the bright colors make me think of spring or maybe because they are all just bright colors to begin with and that’s what I’m drawn to. Who knows. All I know is I have once again become excited about adding to my Miche shell collection over the past couple of months.
I don’t own a Prima bag, but I have to say the Amanda almost gives me enough reason to drop some money on one. The cotton candy pink is... Read Full Story

At first I thought the picture for the new white Miche base was doctored so it could be seen better against a white background, but I have since discovered that the magnetic sides of this base are really black. I’m assuming that this is because the black canvas for the sides is a lot cheaper than the white canvas and who really sees the magnetic sides when you have a shell on it anyways.
I’m not sure that I’m a fan of the sides of this base being black, I think it leaves an unfinished look... Read Full Story

The Mekenna Petite Miche Shell is the second Mini shell to be released in January 2012, the other was the Anjali shell which was a fun shade of pink.
I have to admit that I was really excited about this shell at first, after all, it’s purple. However, as I got a closer look at it, there are some raised dots added as texture. Normally, I would probably think these dots were cute, but to me, the dots almost look like little mini flowers. In my eyes, the fact that they look like flowers makes... Read Full Story

After taking a look at the Parker Prima shell a couple times over, I have officially decided that this is my least favorite shell to be released in January 2012. Yes, it has a unique color and the faux crocodile texturing that I usually like, but I think the main reason I don’t like this shell is it’s not very unique.
The most intriguing thing about this shell that I liked are the geographic inserts which do give this shell a little bit of depth. However, these inserts aren’t enough to make... Read Full Story

The Ryann Prima shell released in January of 2012 is my favorite for the month. It has been quite a while since Miche has released a shell this unique; I hope they continue to explore this route a little more often in the near future.
The turquoise color of the Ryann matches the color of warm tropical waters just waiting for you this time of year. Even if you can’t afford the trip, this shell will make you think of the warmer weather soon to come.
I think my favorite part of this shell is... Read Full Story

Yesterday when I was reviewing the Janine Miche shell I suggested possibly pairing that shell with a set of the cream color handles , but I also advised to try it out before buying because there may be too much white on the Janine causing the cream and white to clash. Of course, about 10 minutes after posting that, I discovered these white linked fashion handles that would go perfect with the Janine or any other shell with white in them.
I really do like these, but from looking at them, it... Read Full Story

The Janine Classic Miche Shell is one of my favorites released for this month. Maybe only because it’s for the classic bag which I own so it wouldn’t cost me as much money to obtain this shell.
I think this shell is very similar to the pink Cori Classic shell seeing as it’s pink, faux leather, and crocodile textured. However, if you are not really into standing out with a loud and bright purse, the Janine may be a way to add some pink to your collection since it’s more of a salmon colored... Read Full Story

I still can’t say that I’m sold on the shape of the Demi Miche Bag yet, but I don’t own one, so who am I to judge. I do like the idea that it’s a little b bigger than the Classic Bag, but I just can’t get over how all of the shells seem like they are shaped like a boat.
The Kris Demi Miche shell is made out of faux leather material with crushed texturing and a matte finish. Miche describes this shell as turquoise, but I think it’s closer to robins egg blue. Either way, if you don’t have a... Read Full Story

Many months I will go through the new releases and pick and choose which ones I want to review first. I have found that those shells are the ones I have the most strong feelings about. I either think that I have to get it or it’s absolutely ugly and needs to be sent back to the recycling plant for some shell rethinking. Anyways, for the first month in a long time, January 2012 has brought me a feeling of “I have to have it” for every shell that was released this month. So instead of picking... Read Full Story

Either Miche heard me or they are ready for spring as well, either way I can’t be made at the new selection of Miche shells that were released in January 2012. For the first time in a couple of months, I am excited to review the new batch of shells, which is filled with color, texture and unique features.
The first shell, is the Anjali Petite shell for the bag formerly known as the Mini bag. I have not had a chance to see the Anjali in person yet, but it is described as pink on the website... Read Full Story
