A couple weeks ago we promoted American Boy by Estelle. Ever since that happened all we hear at Toronto clubs (Circa, Fluid Lounge, etc.) is Estelle! And radio stations have jumped all over her song as well.
Now we're going to showcase a new single from another British artist, Wiley. Wiley is a rapper and producer of Trinidadian decent and his song is currently the #1 downloaded track on iTunes UK.
Wearing My Rolex is currently #2 on the UK chart!
We know this won't be for everyone but the beats are great and can be described as Grime (think UK Garage meets danchall meets hip hop). Ignore the lame video though. Girls dressed up as foxes? Almost orginal. And can anyone spot Wiley in the video? We can't.
