I do believe it has, yes. My Mid – Life Crisis—The Official Soundtrack has reached the end of its run here on Blogger. From my point of view, it’s been a good run. However, I feel that it’s time for a change or two. First of all, there’s going to be a change in the blog hosting site. Next, there’s going to be a change in the look of the blog itself. Third, there may be (MAY be) a change in format and title to something different. Or not; I haven’t yet worked out all the details in my brain as... Read Full Story

Blogger™, the host of My Mid-Life Crisis, seems to be having issues that nobody there seems to care about. Case in point: A friend of mine posted a comment on my last entry, and I have tried in vain several times to post a reply. The software is not allowing me to do so. I then started to research the problem, only to find it’s a sporadic glitch in Blogger™ itself that allows some people to post comments, and denies others the chance to do so. I also discovered that the problem is at least a... Read Full Story

Company names have been omitted. Is there anything more wonderful than having to contact two different companies for technical support during the 0300 hour? It’s my second favorite thing of all time. Everything else in the world is tied for first. The first call was to my Internet service provider. My service was slow and sporadic all day yesterday (Friday). I’d sit and wait several minutes for pages to load, or I’d begin a file download, only to have it get cancelled on me because halfway... Read Full Story

Bella is out sunbathing on the front steps at the moment, and I have some time to kill before getting ready for work, so I thought I’d try writing something to update this blog o’ mine for the first time in ages. I haven’t had an Internet connection for several months, except through my cell, so posting entries here was an exceptionally challenging task. I managed a few, but the novelty soon wore off, so I stopped. Also, I didn’t really have anything to write about. I know, that’s never... Read Full Story

It’s been a while since I’ve done this, so please bear with me if I’ve forgotten how to do it. It’s about 0635 on Saturday morning, and I’m unable to sleep for some reason, so I decided to try something new. I’m still without actual Internet here at the house, which is the main reason for no entries in the past several weeks. I did discover an application for my phone that I can use to write entries, but it’s a pain typing on the phone. Just the other day I discovered another application for... Read Full Story

Today is my 44th birthday. Mentally, I don't feel any different than I did when I was in high school. Well, maybe just a titch of regret over some dumb things I've done in the time since, but that's it. How I feel physically is a different story. I tend to wake up with little aches and pains in areas where I never really knew I had areas, but I'll spare you the gory details. Keepin' it short today as I'm typing on my phone. Please excuse any typos as my finger is bigger than the keys on this... Read Full Story

I voted. I did. I have no problem exercising my right to vote. What I can't stand is the countless people TELLING me to vote, and for whom to vote. This country is supposed to be about freedom. How am I supposed to celebrate my "freedom" with people telling me "You HAVE to vote. It's your RIGHT." "Freedom of speech" merely gives you the right to express your opinions. It doesn't "require" you to do so. Whatever happened to the days when nobody would tell anybody else who they supported in... Read Full Story
