I have heard it said over the past week, that federal regulation reduces economic risk. What I haven’t heard anyone noting, is that regulation also reduces economic growth. As most Americans get their information from the media, which is heavily influenced by Wall Street and by Politicians, I find it necessary to explain what has happened to our financial markets so that people may understand what is at stake.
After the Great Depression, the Federal Government wanted to find a way to ... Read Full Story
While an Obama Presidency might be good for Tony Rezko, Saul Alinsky, William Ayers, Franklin Raines, Jim Johnson, Reverend Wright, and Father Phleger, it would not be good for you, the average American. It would not be good for you, the poor American. It would not be good for you, the wealthy American.
Senator Obama’s ascension seems to be a kind of systemic aberration and statistical inevitability. It was only a matter of time before Democrats nominated someone that epitomizes liberal p... Read Full Story
Barring the unearthing of some unexpected scandal, or the reemergence of Bob Barr as a serious libertarian candidate, I expect to be voting for Senator John McCain in November. I will do this, not because I agree with his political philosophies. I do not. Nor do I agree with many of his positions on the issues, such as amnesty. However, of all the candidates running for President, John McCain has showed the most astute judgment and erudition. Senator McCain was right on “The Surge̶... Read Full Story
How to win a debate with an Obama Fan 101

Let’s face it. There are a lot of them out there. Some are very intelligent people that have legitimate gripes and actually know something about something. Fair enough, I respect your opinion as long as you can defend it. Others like him in the same way they like Pink Floyd, the Grateful Dead, Journey, rap music, and all the other ‘cool hip’ things that people latch onto in that moment to appear like they fit into the ... Yesterday was one of the most frightening days on Wall Street since Black Thursday. It appears that economies all around the world could crash this week. Don’t Panic.
Senators John McCain and Barack Obama must roll out their economic plans this week. The first Presidential Candidate to explain why our financial institutions are crumbling, what the government is currently doing about it, and what they intend to do about it once elected, will have a huge advantage over the other.

Democrats didn’t know what hit them in 2000, feeling outraged by the stupidity of Americans and the curse of the hanging chad. In 2004, the Democrats just knew they were going to trounce President Bush’s wildly unpopular Administration. Then, four more years of President Bush. Four more years of a President that proved Americans must be hebetudinous. Whether the voting majority was dim-witted or simply asleep at the wheel, the Democrats couldn’t tell. But something was wrong... Read Full Story
Senator John McCain has spent his entire political career waffling defiantly in the Senate. You’d think his campaigns’ message would be focused on promoting bipartisan cooperation, unifying the people, not leaving any American behind, and the like. As much as we like to talk about bi-partisanship, hardly any of us prefer it. Democrats don’t want Democrats working with Republicans on conservative legislation any more than Republicans want Republicans working with Democrats on... Read Full Story
Senator Barack Obama’s attitude toward his opposition is currently his biggest obstacle in this campaign. He has angered and alienated the vast majority of Republicans without being for anything substantial enough to secure broad moderate support. In 2004, Senator John Kerry lost because he ran as a Democrat for the Presidency, instead of as an American for America. President Bill Clinton understood this distinction. He ran on the Economy and delivered a feel-good brand of politics we haven’t... Read Full Story
Since the nomination of Governor Sarah Palin, Democrats have begun going indiscriminately crazy. They thought Obama was the Messiah. They thought they couldn’t lose. They thought they had everything all wrapped up. Well, a new prophecy is emerging amongst the Democratic Party.
Steven Cohen, a Representative for Tennessee Democrats, remarked that, “If you want change, you want the Democratic Party,. Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus, who our minister prayed about. P... Read Full Story
Senator Obama’s choice of Joe Biden was still a good choice, in my opinion, but his handling of McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin seems to have divided Obama’s focus. Half the time he seems to be aware that his actual opponent is John McCain. Yet, he continues getting dragged into fights with Governor Palin. These are fights Obama is simply not in a position to win. The more he attacks Governor Palin, the more Republicans will come to McCain’s rescue. Obama should underst... Read Full Story
