A lawsuit accusing Miley Cyrus of offending Asian-Americans by making ‘slant eyes’ in a photo has been thrown out of court. Judge Robert Sohigian said he was not convinced the Disney star’s actions had violated a state law protecting citizens from discrimination by business establishments. The sequel to Twilight has smashed the US box-office record for midnight screenings. The Twilight Saga: New Moon brought in a staggering $26.27 million for overnight showings, new figures have revealed. Britney Spears’ ex Adnan Ghalib has been sentenced to 45 days’ prison for a hit-and-run crash. The photographer received the county jail term after he allegedly ran over a court official who was trying to serve him with a restraining order filed by the singer’s father.
