Sneak Peek -What a Face! {Barrie, Newmarket Photographer}
    This is "C", he looks a bit serious above, but don't let that fool you; he's full of expression! And teeth!  Can you believe this little guy has 9 teeth & he's only 9 months old?? Nine months is such a great age -pulling up, crawling, sitting well & exploring their little worlds. Thank you "H" family -it was nice to meet some "almost neighbours!"   Your gallery will be up soon! Read Full Story

Boo! {Barrie & Newmarket Photographer}
What's really scary is how late I am posting about Halloween!  This is busy time though; working to get Portrait Sessions in time to have prints for Christmas! Gav decided to be Nightwing Robin this year, which turned out to be an easy costume to make & put together.  Intimidating, no? Not intimidated yet? Yeah, me neither. ; ) I am extra proud of our jack-o-lantern this year -it's the only pumpkin that's ever survived long enough in our garden to grow big!  The fun... Read Full Story
How It All Started {Barrie, Newmarket Photographer}
My first ever camera! My Mom recently gave this to me; it's now appropriately displayed on the fireplace in office. Good ol' Fisher Price toys -they last forever.It's funny though, no matter what I point it at, it still only takes pictures from a trip to the zoo in 1973. I don't even remember the sea lions, but I bet they were great. Oh well, I was only 2 at that time. Of course, my name is on my camera -Mark had one just like it and you wouldn't want them to get mixed up. Read Full Story

I present to you, one of the rarest of all urban dwellers - the cooperative two year old!  Yes, although illusive, they do exist!  Well, not quite two -he celebrated his birthday the day after our shoot.  Happy Birthday!  I have to admit, when I hear I'm shooting a two year old, I go in prepared for anything!   No need to worry, Mr. S was polite, interested in everything, and excited to see me.  He even called me by name repeatedly long after our introducti... Sneak Peek - Great Family! {Barrie, Newmarket Photographer}
  Had the pleasure of meeting this family; friends of a friend, in Oakville at the storybook-worthy Gairloch Gardens.  A very open and loving group; fun, hip, appreciative -a dream!  Miss A was camera ready the entire time -both posing easily or playing and interacting with her family very naturally.  Did I mention they were a dream? I'll let you in on a little secret; if I tell you I'm just going off to scout out a different shooting location -I'm probably still... Read Full Story

Young Love, And An Old Barn {Barrie Engagement Photographer}
  Introducing, future Bride & Groom, L & B.  When I mentioned an old barn I've been wanting to try shooting at for a while, they were all up for it.  They proved they were quite the troopers when we actually got there & had a bit of a field of soybeans to wade through.  It was all worth it -check them out! Can you feel the Love?    The amazing interior.  Took a while to figure out how to get up into the loft, but we persevered -again, worth ... Read Full Story
Bellies are Beautiful! {Barrie, Newmarket Maternity}
We interrupt the stream of Montreal tourist images to bring you the lovely belly bump (and the rest of her beautiful self) of A.  I was so pleased to shoot A down at Cherry Beach in Toronto -a little bit of beach, a cool life guard building, and a bit of forest to boot!  Thank you A for being so cooperative for us on this particularly muggy August day, and keeping your sense of humour during this long shoot!  I think it was all totally worth it.
