I realize that the majority of the posts in this blog are political in nature, but one of my reasons for choosing to homeschool my children this year was also political in nature.
If you haven't seen this widely circulated video, you should.

Yesterday, President Obama gave a health-care reform speech at an AFL-CIO picnic. During his speech, the President speaks in great length about his opponents on the subject. However, in typical fashion, he spins his rhetoric to suggest that those who oppose the 1100-page reform plans proposed by the progressives of his party, are against health care reform. Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy passed away during the night. It is being covered on every television station, radio station and internet network. Video montages are being put together of his life's work.
Our President hailed him this morning as "one of the greatest senators of our time". I find that to be such a sad statement and commentary on our Country. Why? Because Senator Kennedy's ... Read Full Story
