Not to Alarm You, But…
I suppose some of you might think I am morbid, bringing up the subject of life insurance right after a post about travel insurance. Or maybe morbid is not the right word. How about paranoid? Ha! But seriously, if anyone knows this to be true–that we can never be too cautious when it comes to planning for those we love–I do, after losing my son in such a tragic way and at such a young age. Take my advice. At least start the ball rolling if you don’t have your estate planned out. Get a life... Read Full Story
Your 4th of July Plans?
Already several people have asked me what I am doing for the 4th of July. One of my girlfriends I haven’t seen in about a year is supposed to come pick me up and we’re going to a “baby shower.” Right. We’ve never gone to a baby shower in our lives. We might stop by, but we will end up in a bar somewhere. I stopped drinking four months ago, however, but it doesn’t bother me if other people drink in front of me. And besides, I haven’t lost my flirting skills, not yet anyway! What about you... Read Full Story
It’s Friday, Ladies and Germs!
I have worked my poor wittle fingers to the bone this week. I am chilling like a villain tonight. Gonna turn on the tube, maybe play a little blackjack later, whatever floats my boat. You? Bookmark to: Read Full Story
Get Widgets
Although I like widgets I am relieved that I quickly got over my passion for them. Or at least realized that too much of anything just can’t be good. Some bloggers seem to be having a contest that requires them to try to show the most widgets. Anyway, I’ll quit complaining and refer to yet [...] Read Full Story

Review of “Syndicated Elitist”
Next on my list of blogs to review from my greatly successful post at Blog Catalog is what is touted as “the official web presence of Benjamin Kerensa,” a blog titled Syndicated Elitist. I spent probably half an hour reading posts and scanning the layout and content of Benjamin’s blog. It is a pretty nice blog, organized, with interesting subject matter, and I like the fact that it has a ton of categories. Here are the things I feel could improve Syndicated Elitist. 1. Make the posts titles... Read Full Story
“Mom, I Need Cost Captain!”
I never thought I’d see the day when kids would be saying something like “Back to School with Microsoft Office 2007!” But when they do, hook them up with Cost Captain. CostCaptain.com is a Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller and carry the brand new Office 2007 Suite and Vista. These programs are perfectly suited for schools, [...] Read Full Story

Pubmatic
Sunday night, and I blame Mashable, I was up until 2 a. m. I had heard of Mashable before, who hasn’t, but I had never taken the time to read any of the posts. I was totally absorbed, and there were several new social platforms or programs that intrigued me. One of those was Pubmatic. [...] Read Full Story
