The Yankees could easily get into the Roy Halladay hunt if they’re willing to part with Phil Hughes or Joba Chamberlain, which they apparently are. The one player they’d love to hold on to is Austin Jackson, their future center fielder who could keep their outfield costs low.

Andy Pettitte is a free agent which means he wants to play baseball in 2010.
I was never the biggest Andy Pettitte fan. I never disliked him but I never went crazy over him. I guess it has to do with the fact that I took him for granted all these years.

Zack Greinke won the American League 2009 Cy Young Award on Tuesday. A 2.16 ERA which was the best in the majors is pretty amazing especially since he plays in the American League.
