Hughes and Joba for Halladay: I don’t like it
From:  yankeesdaily.com
According to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe, the Yankees would be willing to part ways with Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain for Roy Halladay… The Yankees could easily get into the Roy Halladay hunt if they’re willing to part with Phil Hughes or Joba Chamberlain, which they apparently are. The one player they’d love to hold on to is Austin Jackson, their future center fielder who could keep their outfield costs low. I don’t know how guys know this especially when they work for a... I’d like the Yankees to re-sign Andy Pettitte and Andy has leverage
From:  yankeesdaily.com
Andy Pettitte is a free agent which means he wants to play baseball in 2010. I was never the biggest Andy Pettitte fan. I never disliked him but I never went crazy over him. I guess it has to do with the fact that I took him for granted all these years. He went 14-8 with a 4.16 ERA in 32 starts in 2009. That wasn’t too bad but it was his guidance and wisdom he gave to the newest free agent pitchers CC Sabathia and A.J. Burnett about pitching in New York that made him valuable. Andy Pett... C.C. Sabathia didn’t win the Cy Young but he had a great year
From:  yankeesdaily.com
Zack Greinke won the American League 2009 Cy Young Award on Tuesday. A 2.16 ERA which was the best in the majors is pretty amazing especially since he plays in the American League. It still doesn’t take away the fact that C.C. Sabathia had a great year for the New York Yankees. He received a contract from the Yankees in the off season that matched his mountainous presence on the mound during the 2009 season. He was the money player the Yankees paid for. He went and earned the ALCS MVP b... Read Full Story
