This was an exercise for my intro to graphic arts class in which we had to use info personal to us, and create a poster representative of that information. The exercise was done completely in Illustrator, and I have to say I had a lot of fun creating it. If you have any comments, or critiques I would love to hear them. I have a strong belief that it is through those that we all learn how to get better at what we do. http://feeds.feedburner.com/GregorioArtStudio/subscribe Read Full Story

As the title says I've been so busy. The fact is that with full time college and full time work I haven't had any time to post anything for quite some time. Even as I write this I have a ton of thing that need to be done. Theres a composite image for my graphic arts class, ten linear measurement drawings to do for drawing 1, about 100 pages to read, 5 discussion board to post, and thats just this week alone. I swear I don't even have a life any more. College is something I really want, and... Read Full Story

These photos are of a beautiful statue located in the wonderful city of Saratoga. Saratoga is world renowned for its horse racing season that occurs through out the month of August and part of September. The club house also just happens to be the oldest in the United States contributing to the already rich history of this area dating back to, and past the founding of our country. For anyone who has never been, and to those that call this place home, it is well worth exploring the hidden... Read Full Story

Out for a hike one day and saw this leaf sitting on a fallen tree, kind of liked the colors so I took this shot. Sometimes it is hard to translate how vibrant it was at the scene so I took the liberty of enhancing this one a bit. If it looks like it's glowing, on the trail it really was. I think you'll get the idea of how awesome this simple treasure was. Enjoy. http://feeds.feedburner.com/GregorioArtStudio/subscribe Read Full Story

Taken in New York City, I was playing around with shutter speeds and exposure the resulting photo reminds me of the old time photographs. I actually liked it so decided to share this otherwise mundane image with you all. I'd like to hear what you think or even some of your experiences in photo exploration . http://feeds.feedburner.com/GregorioArtStudio/subscribe Read Full Story

I have been a little tardy on the post for a while and it kinda goes like this......... Well after an extended unemployment bout in which it was hard to not feel a little useless and more than just a bit down on myself, I had finally got back to work. So now there is the other side, going from having to much time along with self doubt. Then not having enough time for creativity. Is there really ever a happy medium? Part of me thinks not, then the other part knows that it is up to me to create... Read Full Story

I have to be honest,I really don't have a lot to say about this seriously tragic event. The reality of knowing how many people will be affected immediately and in the long term is almost beyond my ability to comprehend it's magnitude. Sorrow for everyone involved and absolute heart break for the now orphaned children is my best explanation. Personally I have never been to Haiti although I feel a certain attachment by way of some of my Haitian friends. My father on the other hand worked and... Read Full Story
