It’s a miracle!

This video is a couple years old, but I just discovered it, and frankly, had I known this sort of thing was out there I’d have converted to Islam a long time ago.  No, really: I’m convinced.  I know a miracle when I see one, and you can clearly see—I mean, hear—the lion say “Allah” about a zillion times.  And the lion says it with conviction, as might be expected from the king of the forest, who in this case is a detainee at the zoo in Baku.  When this particular lion says “Allah,” Allah listens, for he (Allah, not the lion) is all-knowing, most compassionate, and he has excellent hearing.

If you don’t convert after witnessing an awesome miracle like this, you are permitted to count yourself permanently as a hopeless infidel.  The brief, before-prayer ablution performed by the Muslim lion (it hails from Iran, it turns out) is a definite clincher.  After all, when has anyone ever seen an animal lick its private parts?  It’s positively eerie.

I certainly hope the lion was facing Mecca.
