I am a non-systematic but very methodical student of the Koran. For years now I have followed one unvarying method of study. When the mood strikes me, I open the Koran to a randomly chosen sura, and start to read aloud. And, to my never-ceasing astonishment, virtually every single time I do this, I encounter exactly the same thing. After a few brief lines--on occasion even poetical lines--about the greatness of Allah and his creation, the text suddenly switches from praise of Allah to lengthy... Read Full Story
Israel will “almost surely” strike Iran’s nuclear sites in the coming months — and if the conventional attacks fail to destroy or at least delay Iran’s nuclear program, the Middle East will face a nuclear war. Among those detailed are pillars of the... Read Full Story
A new study warns that fraudulent votes by non-citizens, including illegal aliens, could swing this year's local and national elections. You shouldn’t be because Rep. Maxine Waters is a liberal. The following is but a glimpse of what occurred in late May when a Democrat-led Congress summoned “big oil” executives to Capitol Hill to be publically harassed in a Stalinist... Read Full Story
The spirit of the media frenzy surrounding the arrest of the former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic on July 21 is based entirely on the doctrine of non-equivalence inaugurated in 1992: Serbs willed the war, Muslims wanted peace; Serb crimes are bad and justly exaggerated, Muslim crimes are understandable. Many years ago while living in Japan, I noticed an unusual number of university students were among those who made up the crowds at socialist demonstrations. I asked a professor at the University of Tokyo, Dr. Shiraishi, about this observation and found his reply quite interesting. He told me that college students in Japan were quite poor. The long hours of study made it next to impossible for them to obtain extra work to increase their meager monetary allowances. Full Article ...

Just what is it with Op-Ed editor David Shipley at the New York Times?
How can an objective editor at a major metropolitan newspaper reject an Op-Ed submitted by the presumptive presidential nominee of the Republican Party? Especially since the NYT recently published a piece by McCain's Democrat opponent?
