His career died and he filed for bankruptcy in the late 1990s. He tried to reignite his hip hop career, but it never stuck. Overview:Rick Perry (born March 4, 1950) was the 47th Governor of Texas. Perry was elected Lieutenant Governor of Texas in 1998, and became Governor after George W. Bush left office to become President of the United States in 2000. In August 2011, Perry announced he was running for the Republican nomination for the President of the United States.
Overview:Occupy Wall Street is an ongoing peaceful demonstration opposing what participants view as negative corporate influence over U.S. politics and a lack of legal repercussions over the global financial crisis. Though lacking in a central leader, the demonstrators have a clear goal: to begin a sustained occupation of Wall Street, the financial district of New York City. As of September 27 the Occupy Wall Street movement has spread across America, reaching cities as far west as Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR.
