It happens on June 13th and is supposed to be the biggest, and baddest (in a good way!) ever. If you are a Harley fanatic, biker bike liver or want to entertain yourself with this event. Think about it folks, a bikini contest, custom bike show, burnout contest, live concerts and view the top motorcycle builders latest inventions …and much much more, this is definitely going to be a good time for you! No kidding here! Just take a look at the 5th Annual Bakersfield Thunder Run schedule: 2009 Schedule of Events

8:00pm – 9:00pm The Chuck Palumbo band Can you say Varoom! You can bet we will be there, camera in hand to get another slideshow, if not Flip Video! Bakersfield promises to be gorgeous, weatherwise with temperatures in the mid 80 degree range so there should be a great turnout for this weekends event. No rain. That is one of the things I like about this town is there is rarely an event cancelled by the weather.
Another good thing is parking is fairly cheap and accessable, especially if you arrive early in the day. Once inside the Kern County Fairgrounds you can stroll along the many rows of motorcycles parked throughout the fairgrounds. (you can see this in the slideshow) Often the owner of the bike will be around and if you see one you really like might get the chance to talk with him or her about it. Everyone has a story, some are willing to tell theirs! Check out our latest slideshow of Thunder Run last time we went. Just visit http://7on.us/btr2
