While the art of structural SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is always changing, my clients usually get some benefit from well-written META Description Tags. This is a quick post to provide guidance for writing decent descriptions. The META Description Tags generally follow these formulas: [Company Name] provides [keyword 1], [keyword 2], and [keyword 3]. [Company Name] provides [keyword 1 - where keyword 1 is more of a category, and the other keywords are items within the category... Read Full Story

The bummer can be those nice little enterprise level tools like "pivot tables", "conditional formatting", "eliminate duplicates", etc. For today, I thought I'd help you learn how to remove duplicates from a Google spreadsheet. What you must do first is... Read Full Story

It's a small thing, but they're actively asking for an email address. Sure - they should have been doing this 10 years ago. But hey, this is positive, forward movement. Here's the form available at the front counter of any Boston Market: This type of lead capture should be happening at every restaurant! And, they should be charting what we order. If we eat there, they should give our finished plate a score - as in "loved it" (nothing left) or "hated it" (hardly touched it). Then, they could... Read Full Story

This evening, I was forced to buy a new pair of Tennis shoes (actually for playing Tennis). I had about 30 minutes before my date with a ball machine, so I stopped at the Tennis pro shop. I found myself attracted to the New Adidas Barricade V shoes. The salesperson was atypically knowledgeable and went on to tell me about a 6-month warranty on the outer sole. Apparently, Adidas has added a new compound to the sole that makes it extremely long-lasting. They call it AdiWear 6. The shoes felt... Read Full Story
