Where I work many people commute over 20 miles one way each day. Personally I commute 32 miles one way. With gas prices around 4 dollars a gallon the compute too work is costing many commuters a lot in fuel costs. In an effort too help with the cost of fuel my employer is offering employees the option of working 4-10 hour days instead of 5-8 hour days. There is an Obesity epidemic occurring in the United States. Children as young as 6 or 7 are being treated with cholesterol lowering drugs. A group of the critically endangered bamboo lemurs have been located in Madagascar. The newly discovered group is believed to be 30 to 40 in total. Until this discovery the only place were bamboo lemurs were thought too live was in an isolated bamboo forest.
