Energy drinks
Overview: A community portal about Energy drinks with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: Energy drinks are beverages that are designed to give the consumer a burst of energy by using a combination of methylxanthines, B vitamins, and exotic herbal ingredients. Energy drinks commonly include caffeine, guarana, taurine, various forms of ginseng, maltodextrin, inositol, carnitine, creatine, glucuronolactone and ginkgo biloba. Some contain high levels of sugar, while most brands also offer an artificially sweetened version. Often manufacturers add a very small dose of a powerful stimulant such as carnitine, but the doses of these add-ins are usually so small that any added “boost” is purely psychological. These drinks are typically marketed towards young people, students, people'on the go' and those who play sports.

IPod
Overview: A community portal about IPod with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: iPod is a brand of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Computer and launched in 2001. In addition to the full sized models, there is the iPod mini, which was discontinued with the introduction of the iPod nano, and the iPod shuffle, so called because it has no screen and was marketed with the ability to shuffle songs. Recent iPods are designed around a central scroll wheel — although the iPod shuffle has buttons only. The full-sized model stores media on an internal hard drive, while the other models use flash memory, allowing for a physically smaller size. The most expensive iPods can hold audio, photos, movies, and games, though most are used primarily as music players, which is what they were originally developed as. Like many digital audio players, iPods can also serve as external data storage devices, holding any file type.
Peapod Electric Car
Overview: The Peapod car is Chrysler's newest tiny electric car. Chrysler suspects that the car, unveiled in late 2008, will mostly be used in neighborhoods, since it closely resembles a golf cart. Still, it has some cool features, including an iPod/iPhone dock. But it only has the capacity to run at about 25 miles per hour, with a 30-mile range per batter charge.
Blue Whales
Overview: The Blue Whaleis a marine mammal belonging to the suborder of baleen whales. According to Wikipedia: At up to 33 metres (110 ft) in length and 181 metric tonnes (200 short tons) or more in weight, it is believed to be the largest animal to have ever lived on Earth, though some recent, albeit controversial, dinosaur discoveries may contradict this long-held belief (see Bruhathkayosaurus). Blue Whales were abundant in nearly all oceans around the world until the beginning of the twentieth century. For the first 40 years of the century they were hunted by whalers almost to extinction. Hunting of the species was outlawed by the international community in 1966. A 2002 report estimated there were 5,000 to 12,000 Blue Whales worldwide located in at least five groups. More recent research into the Pygmy subspecies suggest this may be an underestimate. Before whaling the largest population 239,000 (range 202,000 to 311,000) was in the Antarctic but now there remain only much smaller (around 2,000) concentrations in each of the North-East Pacific, the Antarctic, and the Indian Ocean. There are two more groups in the North Atlantic and at least two in the Southern Hemisphere.
