MountainSage has been politically active since she was 17 years old. Issues she was deeply involved with were the 18 year old vote, women’s rights, birth control and abortion rights, and anti-Vietnam war protests.

“The Daily Show,” which has become one of the media’s prime monitors when it comes to calling out misuse or manipulation of video, caught the Fox News Channel and one of its hosts, Sean Hannity, Tuesday night, in what appeared to be a blatant example of doctoring a report with inappropriate video to enhance an argument.

Yet another contractor acting badly. While KBR used to be a division of Halliburton, Blackwater was subcontracted by Halliburton. Rep. Waxman preveiously criticized the State Department’s handling of several incidents involving Blackwater where Blackwater paid off victims families rather than face an investigation, so this is a pattern of behavior by Blackwater.

So many ways to rip off the government and so little time. KBR, once again in the spotlight for yet more malfeasance. Back in May we found that KBR was paid $80 million in bonuses for contracts to install electrical wiring in Iraq, wiring that electrocuted American soldiers.
