LCBO Stores Extend Hours

Thunder Bay, ON -- Beginning May 15, many resort and cottage-area LCBO stores that normally close at 6:00 p.m. will remain open until 9:00 p.m. on Friday evenings. Select LCBO stores in these communities will also stay open later on Saturday evenings. In most cases, these extended Friday and Saturday evening hours will continue until the Labour Day weekend. All LCBO stores will be closed on Victoria Day, Monday, May 18. As with most government offices, LCBO's Toronto head office will close on Victoria Day. Some LCBO agency stores will observe their normal hours of business on Monday, May 18. Agency stores are locally-owned retailers that contract with LCBO to sell beverage alcohol, along with other products, in communities that are too small to support LCBO stores.Customers should check with their local LCBO store or contact the toll-free, bilingual LCBO Infoline at 1-800-ONT-LCBO (668-5226) or infoline@lcbo.com for individual store hours. Both the LCBO Infoline and Customer Service will be closed on Victoria Day.Over the long weekend, the LCBO reminds customers to please drink responsibly and to never consume alcohol when driving or boating. Don't forget to bring a reusable bag when you shop at LCBO and please take your empty beverage alcohol containers (large and small glass bottles, PET plastic, Tetra Paks, bag-in-box and cans) to The Beer Store for a full deposit refund.
