Online bullying a criminal offence

Teachers in Canada (Canadian Teachers’ Federation) are putting forward a policy that will push for Cyberbulling to be made “a separate Criminal Code offence”.

In the policy they make clear their feelings that it should be a “ punishable offence to use “information and communication technology to convey a message which threatens death or bodily harm or perpetuates fear and intimidation.” “
