Score one for Indian Justice!!!

…or not.

The Indian court system is slow. And deliberate. Very deliberate.

A 75 year old doctor has been jailed over a bribe he took in 1985. A bribe of 50 cents.

Now I might be crazy (been called that before and will be again) but I am thinking that the nation of India has larger problems to concern themselves with. Problems like people still engaging in discrimination based on the now outlawed caste system. Or the minor issue of two teenage girls burnt alive for visiting ‘boys’. Or perhaps the insignificant issue of batshit crazy people blowing both buildings and people up because they aren’t practicing the correct religion. You know small and harmless social issues like that.

But hey…at least the crooked doctor is off the street for a crime committed nearly a quarter of a century ago. Working our way to a more perfect world all the time.  You can find the rest of the story here if you are interested.
