God, don’t people get it? I mean, they buy this spammy software that tells them they can “advertise” on a bazillion blogs out there at the push of a button. All they have to do is write some inane, generic comment, and send it out.
Those don’t work, people!
They suck.
Blogs have spam filters and I know that every bogus comment I get from these brilliant schemes gets nuked into oblivion. They never make it to my blog. So, stop wasting my time and yours.
And stop trackin... Read Full Story
I’ve done some advertising with Google AdWords, but it usually ended up being more expensive than it was worth. Oh sure, I got optins and sales, but they were either break-even or only marginally profitable. I don’t have that “special code,” I’m afraid. It takes a lot of trial and error to make it work really well than I have to spend at this point. I mean, I know I can make it if I focus on it and nothing else. But remember, I work for Tellman.
But…

Are you a stats junkie? Well… I don’t have time to be much of one, but I do enjoy looking a good batch of stats and seeing progress, don’t you? Google Analytics has been very cool to me and it’s getting cooler.
There’s now an “Intelligence” segment to your reporting. It will alert you if something out of the ordinary happens at your website. For example, if you have an outrageous number of new visitors one day or if people stay on the page longer than... Read Full Story
