Jimmy Dean, singer of Big Bad John and entrepreneur of his sausage brand, died on Sunday at the age of 81. He passed away at home in Henrico County, Va. Ronnie James Dio, heavy metal vocalist and songwriter, passed away May 16, 2010 after losing his battle with stomach cancer. He was 67 years old. Dio was known for his time spent in the bands Rainbow, Blacksabbath, and his own band Dio. NEW YORK – Lena Horne, the enchanting jazz singer and actress who reviled the bigotry that allowed her to entertain white audiences but not socialize with them, slowing her rise to Broadway superstardom, died Sunday.
