Ford Motor Co.’s president of the Americas, Mark Fields, on Tuesday said Ford would be dedicated to making its future vehicles “meet or beat the competition in fuel economy” in the face of $4-a-gallon gasoline, weak consumer confidence and plunging auto sales. Ford Recalls F-250, F-350 Trucks for Fire Hazard
The Ford Motor Company is recalling 64,754 of its heavy duty 2008 F-250 and F-350 trucks because of a potential fire hazard. Federal safety regulators at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) report that the trucks do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard imposed to maintain “fuel system integrity” and prevent fuel spills. Dump-truckers to continue fuel-price protests
Private dump truck operators feuding with the provincial government over fees say they will demonstrate in Premier Shawn Graham’s home village of Rexton today.
