As I exited Milk Studios after the ADAM show the whispers under everyone’s breath confirmed my initial feeling about the collection…it was amazing. Full of wearable looks that still felt new and unexpected. And, the styling was so spot on. Here, my favorite two looks: the first, a crisp pairing with a wide-sleeve button down that is already at the top of my must-buy list, and the second, a silky pajama-like suit with a subtle hit of gorgeous sparkle. Which is your favorite?Lots of love,Loren Read Full Story
I seriously never thought this trend would catch on! But after seeing it on a few runways for fall, it seems to have caught on and spread like wildfire through the tents for spring. The trend I’m referring to…wearing sweatpants like trousers. Check out this look from Rag & Bone, it almost halfway persuades me to give it a try. What do you think?Lots of love,Loren Read Full Story
Feather skirts are taking over the runway. Here, a rocker chic look from ADAM versus a pretty, ballerina ensemble at Jason Wu. Which designer do you think used their feathers better?Lots of love,Loren Read Full Story
Hands-down the best shoes I’ve seen on the runway yet, and, interestingly enough, they were at a lingerie show? The VPL runway show included these sometimes bright, sometimes neutral (but always cool) heels, flats, and wedges. They were a collaboration with the shoe label LD Tuttle. I want them all!Lots of love,Loren Read Full Story
The ever-handy safety pin found itself playing a much more front-and-center role on the Vena Cava runway this season. Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock, the duo behind the CFDA-award winning line, reimagined the safety pin first as a vest, then as a hardware adornment, and finally as a pretty beaded necklace. Take a look and tell me what you think.Lots of love,Loren Read Full Story

Okay, I’ll admit it: On one hand, it’s kind of scary. Imagine the prettiest, most stylish girls from your high school in their most insecure and haughty mode. Now multiply that by 500. (No kidding. I know editors at major fashion magazines who’ll do anything to avoid walking into the tents alone.)On the other hand, it’s totally exciting. The music is great, the people-watching factor can’t be beat, and the clothes are generally either totally inspiring or the equivalent of a 20-car-pileup – a... Read Full Story
The Charlotte Ronson show started half-an-hour late amid a ring of total seat chaos. Celebrities like Nikki Hilton and Russell Simons (with his new girlfriend Porscha Coleman in tow) were among the party-goers that lined the front row. Honestly, I wasn’t too perturbed about the delay because it gave me the chance to form a full on fashion crush. I spotted this chic woman sitting just across the aisle from me and couldn’t take my eyes off her jacket. That color is amazing. Don’t you think?Lots... Read Full Story
