The sessions, at Abbey Road Studios, were set... Read Full Story

Produced by David Foster, Chicago 17 was a slow burner, finally reaching #4 in the US in early 1985, even... Read Full Story

WHERE DO THE BOYS GO? (ORIGINAL EXTENDED 12" VERSION)(MR MIYAGI MAXIMATION) In 1984, two years after the success of their single Safety Dance and album Rhythm Of Youth, Canada's Men Without Hats released the album Folk Of The 80's (Part III). The track Where Do The Boys Go? was chosen as the lead single of only two from the album. The single was not as successful as Safety Dance but was a great stomping Europop record and a popular dance anthem at the time. The weird guitar solo on the... Read Full Story

GHOSTDANCING (ORIGINAL EXTENDED 12" REMIX) JUNGLELAND (ORIGINAL EXTENDED 12" REMIX) In 1985 Simple Minds released their eighth album Once Upon a Time. Due to the popularity of the Keith Forsey-penned "Don't You (Forget About Me)" on The Breakfast Club soundtrack, interest in Simple Minds was at an all-time high by the time this album came out. Some say it was to spite the song's success, but the band decided to leave the career-defining cut off the album, and instead let singles like speak... Read Full Story
