Away and returned. Arrived and departed. Round and round and round. Healing the mind, the body, the soul, the thoughts that fly, and once again, learning to let go. Amazing how time moves when your truly not paying attention. It's been over a year since my eyes have scanned my own page, my mind has scanned my own person. My thoughts have come back to fully appreciate the poet in my head. One more lapse and another year would soon be coming around and what would I have missed. What would I... Read Full Story

Greetings and salutations ~ from here, where heaps of snow once fell and weeping winter winds once blew. Greetings and much love to you as we enter into this new spring, settling into the hour, to begin again. I've been moving poetic thoughts of late and the feeling of shrinking heart is fading. Last year, my oldest brother lost a valiant battle to brain cancer ~ that can take a dent out of anyone's muse, life, living, looking at reality, mortality and its finality. I've been unwinding, re... Read Full Story

Come, step here today but know that shadows crawl and the sun feels wasted beyond dark shades of gray. Step nowhere near or do come stay. My heart beats as signs ride the norm. Gathered past all emotion or pulled hard within a storm. Step nowhere near or do come roam. There are blazing trails of straight lines that tether and confine. An unwinding warmth of brilliant sun to shine the once defined. Defining life past pain and sorrow and purging faults for all tomorrows. A wanting back what was... Read Full Story

On March 20, 2009 at 9:11 a.m. while the spring was ushered in by a snow squall, my brother took his final breath... We opened the windows... sang his favorite song... and cried. A silence settled As snowflakes brought the spring Open the windows a moment stopped in time The open windows shared their breeze moving time again the clock ticks and sorrow settled Winter fights with spring the battle has ended transitioning a life through open windows Open the windows Trasitioning a life Again the... The Locks of Its Sphere This isn't the first time I've crossed this space this place of no return. Bound by the locks of its sphere no corners for new memories to project upon the year. My soul wishes not to reach such depths of sorrow but I am loosing grasp on the next few tomorrow's. My mind keeps saying you can't take it with you when you go but I know in my heart this is not so for love holds strong when everything is blue. My soul watches snow fall from a truly grey sky but the cover of... Read Full Story

Where to begin. As its b een some time since I've been here, January 18th to be exact. Don't remember to much of the past of that moment, only that some things are as they were. I'm still watching its motion in this days play awaiting the muse to give something new to set footprints upon. It's a new day to shine light, cast away some darkness, live with no expectations. It should be so everyday, but its not for everyone. We truly want the new, we journey in this life for the awe filled... Read Full Story

I truly, and with sound conviction do not like labels. I believe that once something ~ anything is labeled we have limited its structure. We move it into a corner where its easy to judge the way it falls.... I know, I know everything in life has a name. We are given one at birth. We are told that this is red and that is blue, the grass is green, this is old, that's new. We can't seem to get away from it. We have even labeled ourselves into corners of judgement, not good enough, not smart... Read Full Story

Happy New Year all you lovely souls whose eyes glean my words.... Namaste. My words are born from the depths of a teaching that opens the heart. The lotus that sits within my being brought there through Love. The light of Divine oness that shines in everything comes through me in poetry. This poem is my reflection of my first deep experience of meditation. It's opening line was born from its own space, where centers do not exist and it fell. Then I moved it a bit here and there to set it... Read Full Story

We never truly wish for time to fly, but as I sit here on this last day of what had to be one of the worst and most interesting years of my families life I shed no remorse in saying, adieu and thank you kindly '08 for your many lessons of doubling back. I'm opening the window to watch your end sail off into the ether. Allowing the credits to roll the happenings of the year. The spot upon which I stand remains the same but the fresh air of new is anticipated with Joy. So move on time as I will... Read Full Story

What word would you then call it? Things don't just fall alone, but drop like rain when you don't need them. Stars shine sometimes as eyes stare to their ways of glitter. What thinking do you have of their light? Are we not cast by the same thought? An intention to be brought through love even at its cruelest it survives. Read Full Story
