A friend of mine sent this to me a couple of days ago and I laughed my ass off. So, if you haven't read it, enjoy. --SUGAR
The phone rings and the lady of the house answers. "Hello?" "Mrs. Sanders, please.""Speaking." "Mrs. Sanders, this is Dr. Jones at St. Agnes Laboratory. When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too ... Read Full Story

I've been cheating on you with my peeps at Twitter. I know, I know, but I can't help it. Twitter treats me so well. He doesn't make too many demands of me. He lets me say what I have to say quickly and get on with my life. He gives me great feedback. I just love him! I'm sorry. lol
No, really. I do most of my railing about this trainwreck of a presidency we are all watching race down the tracks on Twitter now (@sugarthegirl) and it is like a breath of fresh air. So much easier to get ... Read Full Story

Hell, I don't know what to think at this point, but this analysis is pretty chilling--to say the least. Check it out and let me know what you think. --SUGAR

Last night, I watched ABC's 20/20 for the first time in probably a year and what did my eyes behold but a package from John Stossel showing exactly what Canadian, "free" health care looks like. I'd already had my suspicions, but this just really put it all into perspective. I mean, come on. The government doesn't give anybody a damn thing for free. Are you kidding me? They are taxing us to high hell (some people pay as much as 50 PERCENT in taxes) and you believe they are going to give you... Read Full Story

I intended to write about this on Wednesday, but I didn't get a chance. If you haven't heard or if you haven't picked up a copy yet, head to your nearest bookstore and grab a copy of the August 3rd issue of the New Yorker magazine, which features a wonderful article on radio talkshow host Michael Savage. I've written about Savage once or twice here before and the response from readers has not been the greatest, but as I said then, I listen to his show every day. I have since probably Decembe... I haven't weighed in on the Henry Louis Gates situation here at the blog, but I will admit that I rushed to judgment in the very beginning. I thought that the cop was a racist, but after hearing all of the facts (Good thing I'm not the gotdamn president of the United States. Had I made that rush to judgment as POTUS, only to have to recant, that would have been really, really bad....whoops) I now know, as I'm loathe to admit--Henry Louis Gates is a fool and a bit of a con man. I'm even hoping... Read Full Story

Out of the heart, the mouth speaks. California senator Barbara Boxer deserves to have her ass whooped after what she did to the CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce. I'm so disgusted I don't know where to begin. I watched the video earlier today, but watching it again just now only made me pissed anew and more angry than when I watched it earlier today.
Mister Harry C. Alford, the CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, was testifying before a senate committee on green jobs when Boxe... Read Full Story

I know. I know. I've been horrible about updating this blog since the great con of 2008, but I just feel so disgusted (Yes, still. Kick rocks if you don't like it!) that I can't find the energy to talk about all of the foibles that this idiot is getting us into from one day to the next. I keep a close watch on the Druge Report and network affiliates here in the DC metro area to stay informed but that's about it. Oh, and Twitter. That's all I need. I sometimes take a peek at what's on Fox N... Read Full Story

I have my gripes about this great nation just like most of us have at some time or another, but I can't think of a single solitary place I'd like to live more. Sure, I love to travel and there are many more places I'd love to visit, but this is where I want to live. Period. So, happy birthday America and God bless those troops who have willingly decided to defend this nation against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
This year has been crazy, no? Yesterday's announcement from Alaska G... Read Full Story
