Clothespins - More Than Just Hanging Clothes

We have a little line we've hung across our basement to line dry some of our clothes and so we bought a bag of clothespins to go along with it - but the bag came with way more than we will ever use, so we've been finding new uses for them. I wanted to share some ideas with you:

The Chip Clip - it works great to keep a bag of chips or pretzels closed. You could also use it on bags of frozen veggies or other things in the freezer than you have opened.

For Cooking - it works great to hold open the page of a cookbook. The Kraft food and family magazine, always flips closed on me and the clothespin helps keep it open so I can read the recipe directions.

For The Fridge - I've seen in stores they sell magnetic clips similar to a clothespin to hold papers, etc. Glue a magnet on the back of a clothespin and make your own!

To Hang Up Things Other Than Clothes - My sister uses a small clothesline and pins that hang up students artwork and assignment in her classroom. I've also seen people hang up papers and other documents on a line in their office.

For Camping - We always bring a plastic tablecloth when we go camping. We use clothespins to attach it to the table to stop it from blowing away.

I'm sure there are a million other uses. Do you have any other uses for clothespins?
