Constructionist, non-Activist Judges Can Still Be Pro-Choice
From:  ktracy.com
History seems to suggest that John McCain has absolutely no backbone when it comes to putting conservative judges on the bench. Even in the long shot chance that he is elected President and he does nominate a conservative to the bench, as soon as the Democrats say no, McCain has proven that he will cave in to leftist pressure from the Senate in an instant. But “a judge in the mold of Alito” doesn’t mean anything. Most Republicans seem to think they activist judges are all social liberals... Read Full Story
Luke Puckett Wins Primary!
From:  ktracy.com
Luke Puckett, a businessman and missionary, has won his primary in Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District. He clobbered Tony Zirkle, the guy who spoke to the Nazi Party, showing the Republican Party in District 2 was able to see clearly through the fog created by the liberal media and Puckett is now ready to take on Representative Donnelly. And he’s not wasting any time. As this key 2008 race unfolds, you’ll find first hand reporting and blogging of this campaign here at ktracy.com. As... Read Full Story
Mitt Romney Criticizes Obama’s Experience
From:  ktracy.com
Wizard of GOZ
Former Presidential candidate and Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney went on CNN this morning to play the role of political attack man, which is the only thing he knows how to do, in order to criticize Barack Obama’s experience, reminding viewers that Obama has never run a business or enterprise or government. Two things came to mind… 1. Neither has Senator John McCain. 2. Barack Obama has more experience being a liberal than Mitt Romney has of being a conservative. Pundits automatically... Read Full Story
McCain Loses a Fourth of GOP Votes in IN and NC
From:  ktracy.com
John McCain faces persistent problems in Republican circles. After losing a sizable number of Republican votes in Pennsylvania, the trend continued in yesterday’s primary contests in Indiana and North Carolina. In Indiana, Huckabee won 10%, Paul got 8%, and Mitt Romney carried 5%. In North Carolina, Huckabee picked up 12%, Ron Paul earned 7%, Alan Keyes even managed to pick up 3% with a remaining 4% not voting any of the above. If you can’t do basic addition, McCain lost 23% of Indiana... Read Full Story
President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia

Dmitry Medvedev
For the first time, we’re able to call Vladimir Putin the FORMER President of the Russian Federation as he stepped aside today for his successor, President Dmitry Medvedev. Medvedev campaigned promising democratic reforms, some of which were repealed under Putin and while many in the US are maintaining their Cold War era prejudices against the Russian leader, the people of Russia are optimistic for their new leader. Former President Vladimir Putin, who lead Russia to an economic and... Read Full Story
Does Clinton Have a Trick Up Her Sleeve or Has She Lost It?
From:  ktracy.com
By “it” I don’t mean the nomination - I’m referring to her mind. With Barack Obama clobbering her by 14% in North Carolina and nearly costing her Indiana, far exceeding all expectations, it’s inevitable that he’s going to be the Democratic nominee… unless Clinton has something incredible in store for the Democratic Party. Right now, Clinton’s ONLY asset is her supporters, half of whom are telling pollsters that they’d sooner stay home or vote for McCain than support Barack Obama in the... Read Full Story
Barack Obama Wins North Carolina
From:  ktracy.com
Minutes after the polls closed in North Carolina, the media has called the state for Senator Barack Obama. That means he’s gotten a sizable victory and exit polls are showing him winning 91% of the black vote, which is good considering Obama was being criticized for not being black enough this last summer. In Indiana meanwhile, Clinton is holding on to a 57% - 43% lead over Obama with 25% of the precincts reporting. However, that doesn’t include the Northwestern region, including Lake... Vice President Evan Bayh?
From:  ktracy.com
Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana has been working his butt off for Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign and we Hoosiers have probably seen Senator Bayh more this last month than we have seen all of him for the last 8 years. He’s hugely popular here in Indiana and it’s obvious why. He’s a great communicator, he’s energetic, and Hoosier women will argue he’s more attractive than John Edwards. Everyone thought he would run for President in 2004 and again this time around, but again, he decided not... Read Full Story
McCain-Jindal 2008? A good idea with bad consequences.
From:  ktracy.com
Governor Bobby Jindal was elected Louisiana’s Governor in 2007 and took office in January. He’s an amazing leader with an impeccable record. He would make an amazing Vice Presidential candidate for Senator John McCain in this election cycle. There’s just one problem… Louisiana is a state with serious problems and Governor Jindal was elected to solve those problems. To take him out of Louisiana not a year after he assumed office to campaign for John McCain across the country is a terrible... Read Full Story
Polls are Open and I’m Making a Few Predictions
From:  ktracy.com
UPDATE: Ron Paul IS on the Indiana Republican Ballot. I was looking at an out of date list of candidates and Paul’s supporters didn’t get him on the ballot until the last minute. Being in Indiana, I’ve admittedly paid little attention to the North Carolina Primary. That said, I expect Hillary Clinton to come out of Indiana with a 6-7% victory and Barack Obama with anywhere between a 4%-9% victory in North Carolina, depending on a variety of factors. Ron Paul won’t be on the Indiana... Read Full Story
