This past weekend I made my way to New York City for the social media consulting work that I do. For this particular weekend it was for Purple Lab. If you don’t already know, Karen Robinovitz is the Creatrix behind Purple Lab and everyone who knows me knows that her book “How to Become Famous in Two Weeks or Less” is my favorite, so this was a real treat for me (besides the fact that you already know that I love Huge Lips Skinny Hips in Worship Kate.)
I don’t typically... Read Full Story

Oh my friends. It is so official that I have a girl crush on Lady Gaga. The funny part is that I totally didn’t get Perez Hilton’s love of her in the beginning. But after watching her play classical piano, cast a magic spell with her sinfully awesome voice, dance like it’s nobody’s business, make music videos an art form, not too mention she was pretty funny on SNL…I am hooked! Better yet, I discovered this interview she did with Vibe.com and I was blown away by ... Read Full Story

A first date can happen at any time in your life. Whether you are 16 or 34, we all are nervous;mainly about meeting him, but also about the right makeup to wear and beauty products to use. So I rallied up some of my favorite beauty bloggers to give you their first date beauty tips.
First from Paul from Beyond Beauty Basics, being a fabulous guy that I’ve had the pleasure to meet in person: “I think it’s always safe to say not to overdo it on the makeup. I like a natural look that you can go ... Read Full Story

A Surviving “Affair”
My husband had four different women in his life for almost a year. Their names were Zsa Zsa, Rachelle, Ava, and Sassy. Sassy was actually only a “one-day stand. “ Most women wouldn’t be tolerant of their husbands having these “affairs.” but I was perfectly content.
My bilateral mastectomy December 11, 2007 was followed by six sessions of chemotherapy from January 4-April 18, 2008. There was little that I was in control of othe... Read Full Story

I hope you aren’t one of those people who neglects their feet all winter long simply because you can hide them in your socks. (You’re not, right?) I found 5 products that are affordable and easy to use to keep your feet silky and smooth all season long so that by the time spring rolls around, your feet are... Read Full Story

I have had a long love hate relationship with liquid makeup removers. I’ve tried so many, been disappointed by the greasy oil slick they left behind went on to try others…fell in love with Korres Jasmine Makeup Remover, but couldn’t afford the $22 pricetag of late and with how I have been traveling over the last few months, liquid just isn’t feasible. So when I was approached to try Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes, my interest was piqued by the thought of a simpl... Read Full Story
