Watercolour window with reflections.
These images are created using watercolours and pencils. First of all I selected and stretched some paper.Then I used a mixture of blues from my paint box to create a watercolour wash.I then applied salt to the paper to experiment with drawing the colour as it dried.I found that this assisted with the variegation of the blue across the paper. Leaving behind a rough texture which was interesting to work on top of with the pencils. I aim to further develop this technique and explore the theme ... Read Full Story
Skyscraper Eureka Tower drawing.
EUREKA TOWER."Eureka Tower is named after the Eureka Stockade, a rebellion during the Victorian gold rush in 1854. This has been incorporated into the design, with the building's gold crown representing the gold rush and a red stripe representing the blood spilt during the revolt. The blue glass cladding that covers most of the building represents the blue background of the stockade's flag and the white lines also represent the eureka stockade flag."Image and text from Wiki...
