Okay, so Iowa or at the very least the GOP in Iowa has embarrassed itself and the state with the latest OOPS! moment of the season.  As we all remember, Mitt Romney was the original winner of the GOP Iowa Caucus — by 8 votes over Rick Santorum.  Remember?  Well, that was a couple of weeks ago and now we have discovered that Iowa has determined Rick Santorum to be the winner by something like 34 votes, give or take a few. What is Santorum thinking?  Or, is he?  Comparing gay marriage to polygamy is almost as bad as comparing a space shuttle to riding a horse.  The ballpark isn’t large enough to hold both concepts, either the comparison of gay marriage to polygamy or the comparison of a space shuttle to a horse.  I could almost avoid this writing if I just disagreed with Santorum’s comparison, but the truth is I just don’t get it.
