With the upcoming Uptown Pumpkin Dash 5k on Thanksgiving Day, 2011, we will be looking for some volunteers to help us.  If you not going to participate and would like a cool shirt just like the runners and walkers will get then why not volunteer for an hour. We are looking primarily for volunteers to help us with parking coordination, race day registration, finish line assistance and course marshalling (directing participants along the course).  All easy work. One of the more exciting aspects of the Uptown Pumpkin Dash will be the pumpkin pies we'll have on race day for participants.  We'll have 300 pumpkin pies to give to the first finishers of the race, courtesy of our sponsor, Community Markets in Marysville.
