Paper dolls were the first dress-up experience I ever had. Then came Barbies. And then my mother’s worn-out dresses and high heels that I tripped over, inching towards the mirror to look at my new get-up. I’ve always loved dressing up, and now you all know I’m obsessed with Polyvore , but paper dolls were the original way to do it. This is why I love the Madras 641 ’s latest Spring 2010 lookbook for their collection called "Paperdolls". Get a sneak peek below:

Look confident in a sheer top or paste up those nips in style with the latest trend in pasties, a.k.a. Nippies. These cute little cover-ups may put ‘Lil Kim back on the fashion circuit — which I never thought I’d say — however, most fashionistas still wear them under a blouse. Katy Perry confidently wore the white lace ‘Like a Virgin’ Nippies under the Marchesa dress she wore at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin on Nov. 5. And Rihanna has also been spotted wearing them out on the to... Read Full Story

The green movement just got a little bit trashier, and it’s a good thing! Jean-Pierre Veillet, a project designer from Portland, Ore., plans to design his store space with materials found in New York City’s waste according to a recent article in the New York Times. Fallen tree limbs, old factory pipes and thrown out cardboard boxes will be used to create clothing racks and wall displays. The store, called Here/Nau/NYC, will open Nov. 12, carrying eco-friendly products from brands like Timber... Read Full Story

Did you know that the average American woman wears a size 14 and weighs around 160 pounds? It’s interesting too since the average size sold in stores is a 6 or an 8. Many high-end designers refuse to create garments for plus sizes, but luckily more stores are starting to cater to the average woman’s needs. Fully Intimate is one of them.
For all those curvaceous ladies out there, this new online store offers lingerie up to a size 6X. They also carry some of my favorite brands of l... Read Full Story

America’s favorite cartoon mom is posing for Playboy. The Oct. 16 issue of the magazine will feature Marge Simpson on the cover, along with a complete data sheet, an interview and a 2-page centerfold. This is the first time that Playboy has ever featured a cartoon character, and they claim it’s still “very, very racy,” according to the Associated Press. Because the show is celebrating its 20th anniversary, the magazine’s editors thought it would be a good way to appeal to a younger, 20-someth... Read Full Story
