Trash Can Be Stylish Too!

The green movement just got a little bit trashier, and it’s a good thing! Jean-Pierre Veillet, a project designer from Portland, Ore., plans to design his store space with materials found in New York City’s waste according to a recent article in the New York Times. Fallen tree limbs, old factory pipes and thrown out cardboard boxes will be used to create clothing racks and wall displays. The store, called Here/Nau/NYC, will open Nov. 12, carrying eco-friendly products from brands like Timberland and Toms, Stewart + Brown and Nau.
