Overview:
A science-fantasy epic series of films and its fictional galaxy created by writer/producer/director George Lucas during the 1970s. The saga began with the first film 'Star Wars,' which was released on May 25, 1977. The film became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon - spawning five more feature films, three spin-off films, five television series and an extensive collection of licensed books, comics, video games, action figures, trading cards, card games, and other products - all of which are set within the fictional "galaxy far, far away."
Overview:
On September 17, 2007, police from the University of Florida forcibly removed Andrew Meyer, a 21-year-old fourth-year undergraduate telecommunications student, from a forum with U.S. Senator John Kerry, restraining him with the help of a Taser. The taser hit was captured on video and posted to the Internet.
