I am not a poet or a good writer, but I wrote my thoughts because I needed to.

Thank you for all that you stood for

A caring ear
A soft voice
A loving hug
You always have the right solutions
A ready tissue to dry my tears

You were always there when I was ill
Your face being the first face I saw -
when I woke up from an operation
You were always there before we even needed you -
even before we knew that we were going to need help

You are truly a mother in a million
The best Grandmother
The Coolest Grandmother
The most giving of Souls
You felt good when you could give

You gave joy
you gave love
you gave hope
you gave inspiration

For all that you have given to all of us
Your family, your frinds, your neighbours,
even strangers, that you have helped
Asking nothing in return except our love

Even though you have good to a better place
You will always have our love and respect
Mom. For us you are and always be our Hero
