That’s just the way it is. Startup greenlight.
If you are one of those who watch my every move, I’m taking out a piece of time here to say thanks. There has been a lot of things going on lately that have kept me off my blog, twitter, and well, anything that can take out time. I’m cutting the time-loss fat.
Why ?
For about a year now I’ve been working semi-dilligently on a startup concept. It’s not up and running yet - not because I’m lazy, or don’t have the knowledge on how to do it. It’s because I have been quietly playing along, and waiting for the market to be ready for a concept such as this. I don’t want to endanger this valuable baby that I’ve been growing inside of my head by releasing it into the woods too prematurely. I primarily work with startups, and I hope that during my time as an internet startup consultant I have arrived to a greater understanding about how the gears move and how to keep the engines running.
I’m now giving this project the green light. Lately, I have received amazing indication that the “time is now”. If there is anything that I’ve learned during my time working alongside of so many startups it’s this; innovation can push through a bad economy, but it can’t push through it’s industry without some careful planning.
I’m writing this publicly because I want you to keep me in line, and to maintain my carrot at the end of the stick. Check in my progress - push me to push myself - and feel free to pressure me on projections and milestones as I move forward. With that being said, if you are reading this, and you know any investors, greatly talented startup people (in Orlando, or willing to move) or some other obviously relevant person(s) that you could point me in the direction of, you have my compliments.
I hope you will join me as I take this big plunge. It’s not my style to move slowly.
