Author and Shaman Lynn Andrews updated Sat Jul 4 2009 10:42 am CDT
From:  squidoo.com
Many times in our lives we experience what is known as "Shaman Deaths". It is a completion or the end of one journey, and a new beginning in a new life cycle and new life experiences. On more than one occasion, during the process of my own "Shaman Deaths" it seems one or more of Lynn Andrews's books enter my life. It was during my last "Shaman Death" that the book I want to highlight in this lens came into my life. I was actually introduced to by a precious frie... Read Full Story
Acknowledgements for People in my Life updated Sat Jul 4 2009 8:33 am CDT
From:  squidoo.com
This week's Giant Summer School lesson is to write a lens on Acknowledgement-giving thanks to someone who has enriched my life. I actually have a long list of people I could write about but during my thinking process for putting this lens together, I decided to write about the first three people who popped into my mind first. In a sense, you could say these three people have inspired me the most; all on different levels. I believe each of us have certain areas within our minds that need diff... Read Full Story
What is Paganism updated Sun Jun 21 2009 11:01 am CDT
From:  squidoo.com
Often people are asked, "What do you mean you are pagan?" Does that mean, you do not believe in God and worship the Devil? Religion is a very personal thing for everyone. What each person believes and how they choose to live their life; is a right we are honored with and something we should not be ridiculed for. So what I have decided to do is a write this and hopefully to share some information that will help others to see what Paganism is for some people. Unfortunately, there ar... Read Full Story

A picture of my grandmother-Rose updated Fri Jun 19 2009 1:32 pm CDT
From:  squidoo.com
The second week assignment in Giant Squid Summer School is to write a lens about our prize possession. It did not take me as long to think about what this was; as it did for me to figure out to put it together on a lens. Without a doubt, if a tragedy struck and I could only grab one thing while getting out the door, it would be my husband and my yorkie Danu. But I do not consider them possessions, so it goes without saying they would be right there with me. I have five items that would brea... Read Full Story

From:  squidoo.com
When it comes to romance, the first glance in the eyes, the first time you hold a hand, sparks fly! Sometimes when you see certain pictures you wonder, what is going on in their minds. Most often you are shy and you get all giggly. You feel the butterfly's fluttering around in your stomach and waiting for that first kiss, seems like it is going to take forever. Romance, just the sound of the word is very romantic. As much as most people adore romance, they also have many memories about b... Read Full Story

Conversation from a Fairy Garden updated Sat Jun 13 2009 1:45 pm CDT
From:  squidoo.com
Sometimes when we plant gardens with a certain theme, have you wondered if plants could talk what would they say? While I was trying to decide what in the world to write this lens about, I was looking out of my window and noticed my Fairy Garden. It is a very small space that I have planted flowers and herbs and decided to create a Fairy Theme. Out of nowhere, I could just imagine how this poor little gnome feels being stuck under a huge pineapple sage plant that started off very small. Then... Read Full Story
Nutritional Eating Habits updated Mon May 18 2009 7:25 pm CDT
From:  squidoo.com
This is something that I have been very aware of since I was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure. It seems that the biggest majority of people who are diagnosed with HPB also are told that if they lose weight it will increase the chances of lower their Blood Pressure. Losing weight is harder than just a saying it, trying to do it and actually doing it. I do not believe in diets. I am sure there are diets that are affective, and I am sure some people have great results from them. If you do a G... Read Full Story
