Gino is epicly history and now it's time to delve into the career of Ethan Fowler. The series will start next Thursday and hopefully will be a few parts long. Fowler's a mad man on a skate and has one of the rowdiest beards in the industry. Here's a little blurb from O'Dell: Ethan Fowler has always skated with a power. The proof is in all his video parts from Toy Machine's "Live" to Foundation's "Cataclysmic Abyss". He was kind enough to sit down and talk about where his skateboarding... Read Full Story
Well my second favorite snowboard company, Gnu, recently launched their new website featuring all the latest Gnu goods. Most of the boards come with Banana Tech so they'll be 123% more fun to ride. The Street Series looks especially nasty this year... Peep the goods. Read Full Story
The second webisode of the behind the scenes look at That's It, That's All finds the crew in Alaska throwing down on some massive lines. Director Curt Morgan busts out the hi tech shit to give us viewers a new perspective on big mountain riding and an idea of what it's really like to ride 3000 feet of vertical... Which most of us have probably never done. Heavy Hitters T. Rice, Mark Landvik, Nicolas Muller, and Jeremy Jones get gnarly on some huge kickers, spines, a sick natural hip feature... Read Full Story
I really like Toy Machine. I used to skate Toy decks back in the day and have always been a huge fan of the company. I feel like they really do things the right way and are a breath of originality in an increasingly "that's already been done" industry. Anyway, opinions aside, Toy released some tasty new decks a little while back and they are looking very nice. In an extremely surprising move, (insert sarcasm) Nick Trapasso finally turned pro for Toy and subsequently has his first pro... Read Full Story
So remember this way back when? Well it's now a reality... TV show, that is. The Adventures of Danny and The Dingo premiered last week on Fuel TV, and for all of you who aren't lucky enough to have the amazing Fuel TV, (like me) here's the first episode of the show. If you are a spoiled little brat and have Fuel TV, the show airs every Tuesday at 8pm... On Fuel TV. The first episode is pretty funny, a speaker phone conversation Danny has with his ex-girlfriend had me chuckling. If you... Read Full Story
Well, losing the the USB cord to the digi cam is not a good thing for the blog. Since Macs don't have memory card slots, the USB cord is really a vital part of the photo uploading process. I was feeling pretty unmotivated all week but was finally able to get the photos from the TITA premiere uploaded tonight on JB's computer so here we go... A week late. Wow, where to start? How about a theme for the night, BIG TIME. Big time film, big time production, big time riders, big time tricks... Read Full Story
Well the Gino series wraps up with episodes 9 and 10 and man I really enjoyed watching this. Gino's one of the best skateboarding has ever seen and it was cool to get an inside look into his past and present life. Hopefully we'll see a part from him in the new Chocolate video! Episode 9 - Talking about Episode 10 - What's next for gino? Read Full Story
Stepchild Snowboards is offering up their latest video Downloaded, for you to, uh... download, for free. Oh wait look... It's right down there too! This is a very cool 25 minute film featuring the shredding of Simon Chamberlain, Markku Koski, Joe Sexton, Stain Solberg, JP Walker, Fredu Sirvio, Scotty Vine, and Chris Wimbles. If you like to jib everything in sight you'll love this video. Simon and Sexton get radical on a number of rails and other jibbable objects. There's also back... Read Full Story
Well if you haven't seen it by now, the Nike snowboarding website is up and running with their new boots and some outerwear. This is Nike's first year of producing snow specific goods and it's yet to be seen how they preform. If they put as much R&D as they did into the SB skate shoe line, the boots should be pretty good. They look just like Nike shoes which I must say is pretty lame and both the mens and womens boots have the same name, Zoom Force 1. I've never skated a pair of SB's and... Read Full Story
Way back in July or whenever it was that Absinthe released the trailer and tour dates for their latest shred film Ready, I was a bit surprised/stoked they would be rolling through Fort Collins for a premiere. Usually all the films head south to Denver so it was rad I didn't have to spend the 40 bones in gas money it takes the Love Bus to get down and back. I loved last years Absinthe film, Optimistic? so I was pretty hyped to check this one out. My hommie Tom and I set out on our bikes in... Read Full Story
