Wordpress as a CMS?

I read a blog post on another site today about using Wordpress as a full content management system or CMS. This seems to be a very good idea considering how easy it is to create new pages and content with Wordpress. Once you have your template made things would be very easy. I am thinking about exploring this technique locally on my computer first and seeing how everything works. Possibly in the near future you may see this blog completely transform into something different.
