I have just recently begun to use Proactiv. Even though I’m using the lotion that was provided, my face continues to feel tight and dry throughout the day. My skin even becomes flaky on some days. My 13 year old daughter is in that awkward stage between child and teenager when she breaks out like crazy on her face, chest, and back. I usually break out on my forehead with zits.. Mostly whiteheads.. They get pretty big.. I woud love to get rid of them. I have a couple of scars from some too.. I have tried a lot of acne products.. I have tried clearasil, zapzyt, oxy balance, neuotrogena oil free acne wash, and neuotrogena clear pore cleanser mask. The one that has worked the best is the neutrogena clear pore cleanser/mask.. I heard that milk can cause acne because the hormones that are in it. Should I assume the same for cheeses? If the hormones come from the cows, should I avoid all dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese) and beef/steak too?
