SPORTS HUT WEEK 13 NFL PICKS
It's that time again boys and girls...Last week was a horrible, horrible week for the Sports Hut as far as picks are concerned. I will say, I knew the picks that I made last week were very gutsy to begin with, so I don't have much to complain about. I even went out on a limb and said the Eagles would take the Patriots down ON THE ROAD. I know, I know. In my defense, the Eagles put up more than decent fight. This week I will return to picking as I normally would. So here they are: my week 13... Read Full Story
Quick Take: Cowboys take out Favre, Packers
Well, well, weeeelll...Interesting game in Dallas tonight. What was supposed to be a showdown of NFC quarterbacks Brett Favre, and Tony Romo turned out to be nothing more than a half-assed comeback attempt on Green Bay's part. Brett Favre left the game in the second quarter with an elbow injury, effectively taking Green Bay out of the game. I'm honestly not convinced that the better team won tonight. Call me crazy, but Green Bay seems to have the more complete team right now (other than the... Read Full Story

He was rushed to a Miami area hospital where his prognosis appeared to improve after he squeezed a nurse's hand. Unfortunately Taylor passed away earlier today as a result of blood loss. He never... QUICK TAKE: PATRIOTS SURVIVE EAGLES
Before we get to the quick take, I have to express my frustration with the Patriots. For 11 weeks now the Pats have been the talk of the NFL. "One of the best, if not the best team to ever come through the league." That's what I hear most often, and I have found myself saying the same thing at times. More recently I have changed my mind. First, they exhibit no class by running up 30-40 point spreads on opposing teams who already know they won't win. What the hell is the point of that? You end... Read Full Story

SPORTS HUT WEEk 12 NFL PICKS (PART 2)
Ok, so the first part of the week went pretty well for me as you can see. I went 3-0. I can't say that it was terribly hard to go 3-0 with the games that were going on though! The rest of this week has some good looking games that could go either way. So here are the rest of my picks for the week! ***New Orleans (4-6) @ Carolina Panthers (4-6): Not a game that would I, personally, would want to watch. Its a battle of NFC mediocrity when these two teams take the field this Sunday. I don't... Read Full Story
