hp pavillion laptop dv6000 troubleshooting?

i’ve had my hp laptop dv6000 for about 14 months and it has many problems. first, it continually freezes and crashes, i have to turn it down manually everytime. second, it overheats constantly and randomly switches off. third, it does not charge anymore and doesn’t recognise the charger. the battery has now run out and because it won’t charge, the laptop is now unusable. if you’ve had the same problem/s i’d love to hear it, solution. or what you did. thank you
